Rat Race

I've never thought of race or religion as a factor for love. How can a person restrict themselves to a certain culture or skin color. Maybe I don't understand the edicts or requirements such a culture would follow. Maybe I presume too much in assuming that such marriages can be nothing but unhappy and forced. It's just a hard thing to imagine, an invisible wall of beliefs and ideals holding me back from experiencing the world.
