My Morning

I woke up yesterday morning, completely intent on having a good day.
That dream bubble burst really fast.
I got onto an L train that was very focused on NOT MOVING. After forty minutes on what should have been a twenty minute ride, I impatiently wait for a Q train. After celebrating it's prompt arrival I find myself crest-fallen after the following announcement:
"The Q train will be running on the N line."
So it was quite useless.
I rode the Q train one more stop to Pacific Street where I transferred to the 2 train.
Thinking that I was finally done I hear this announcement:
"This 2 train will be running to New Lots Avenue."
Hmmm....that isn't where I wanted to go.
I ride the 2 as far as I can and jump out at Franklin Avenue in time to catch a 5 train.
This trip should have only taken 40 minutes.
I was there for an hour and twenty five minutes.
Oh and I was late for a mid-term.
What...the...hell?!
